In this term's No Outsiders, Everyone Welcome lesson. we will be using the book That's NOT how you do it!
In maths this half term, we will be focussing on numbers to 50. We will also be looking at how to measure length and height and how we can start to measure mass and capacity. 
In writing this half term we will continue to use The Write Stuff approach. We will be using the book Little Red and the very Hungry Lion as our inspiration and we will be writing our own version of the story
In phonics we will be focussing on the different ways the sounds /e/, /s/, /k/, /sh/, /j/ can be made. We will also be  focussing on the following  common exception words: Mr, MRs, looked, called. asked, could, where and water.
In science we will be learning about different animal types and how to identify herbivores, carnivores and omnivores.
In history we will be investigating whether we think that Nottingham Castle is a real castle. We will be investigating what buildings need to be castles and deciding at the end of the unit what we think.
Our topic in DT this half term is all about food. We will be designing our own smoothies and making them at the end of term!
In ICT lessons, we will be learning all about internet safety!
In RE this half term, we are learning all about sacred times and special celebrations, We will focus on the Christian religion.
In PSHE this half term we are learning all about what it means to be a good citizen.
In music this half term we are learning about rhythmic patterns, how to recognise timbre and how to keep the pulse. 
In PE we will be learning all about fitness and learning skills based on target games.
